A Brief Gllimpes Of Inkjet Printers

August 9th, 2007

Inkjet printers are one of the most pervasive and reliable printing technologies that exists for consumers and businesses alike. There are many variations on this design in use for both commercial and private needs, although models used in the private sector use the same basic design and technologies.

What Makes an Inkjet Printer Work

Despite the fact that there are many different variations of inkjet printers on the market today, they all share some basic methods of function. A color inkjet printer propels small drops of ink out of nozzles and onto paper in a pattern in order to form an image. Typically, the section of the printer that keeps a nozzles in place, also called a printer head, will quickly move over the paper, spraying ink as it goes. Then the paper will be moved a small distance, and the printer will move across the paper again. An image is formed from the small lines of ink.
